Wine Tasting Note

I have no idea, but I'll make an educated guess on this. =) It's a SQVP, it is of a lesser year so I would assume it has passed it's prime. SQVP's are usually made in the in between years of widely declared vintages and usually mature a lot faster. It also matters a lot how it has been stored '67-now. But if the cork is still good it should be drinkable. However, the only way to know if it's enjoyable is to try it.	Posted on Jan 22, 2007 By Johan Erkers
I would also really watch out for sediment when you open the bottle. Port that old will have a large amount of sediment at the bottom that may be up to 2 cm (~1 inch). Keep the bottle standing up for at least 1 day (best 1 week), then decant it and pour carefully.	Posted on Feb 11, 2007 By Roy Pereira
