This book is a good outline of the port trade and some of its history and politics. It contains a large section on various major port houses including their history and ratings for their wines. The English is a bit frustrating to read at times, it could have used a native speaking English editor, but you get used to it over time. A fairly quick read and a worthwhile one, 380 pages.
